ITALIAN HERITAGE AS A PULL FACTOR TO ATTRACT ITALIAN TOURISTS TO PORTUGAL

In the last decade, the number of Italian tourists in Portugal presented a sharp rise.
Aware of the importance of the Italian tourists to the Tourism in Portugal and in need of new products to attract this nationality to our country, we have created an Italian Route in Portugal, specifically designed to the Italian people.
The Italian enjoy visiting places where it can be possible to find heritage that witness the culture of the country they are visiting; however, they are a people who truly appreciate recognise its patent culture on the foreign places they visit.
Realizing that Italian Tourists are very important for the incoming Tourism and needing some new products in order to attract this nationality to Portugal, we developed an Italian Itinerary in Portugal drawn specifically for Italian people.
