This article presents an analysis of Brazilian scientific production in the area of organizational communication. From the series of articles published in the proceedings of workshops sponsored by the National Association of Programs of Pos-Graduate and Research in Administration (Anpad, Brazil), we sought to identify a number of features of these researches in order to understand what has been considered relevant for researchers who were studying the issue. We analyzed 47 articles published between 1999 and 2011. The results show growth in studies about organizational communication and the interest in associating the theme to others of equal importance, such as organizational strategy, marketing, image and/or reputation, among others. In closing remarks, a research agenda was outlined, considering the study's limitations.Downloads
