Abstract

The aim of this conceptual article is to demonstrate the dependency relation between Human Resource Management (HRM) and Knowledge Management (KM), in particular between the HRM practices and the KM processes. The article is structured in two stages: 1) a review of the literature regarding the themes of HRM and KM individually, highlighting the particularities of each system, 2) a review of the literature on the dynamics, influences and confluences, between HRM and KM. Are then discussed the main results where we evidenced the strategic and complementarity relationship between HRM and KM.
