Currently the themes technology, sustainability, productivity and innovation have been highlighted in the strategy of organizations, particularly in production environments more dynamic society. It is noticed that often these environments have neglected the most important variable of an enterprise, people. It is forgotten that the changes are the result of individual competencies, skills, motivation and commitment towards the same institutional projects. In pursuit of continuous improvement, several mechanisms are used as the source of lifting and subsidies for the reorientation process, changes in attitudes and management planning. This paper investigated the role of organizational climate survey as a tool of perception of the motivation of servers in a public institution of higher education. The methodology was based on desk research and case study. The dimensions studied were: the style of leadership, identification with the company, communication and information, standards and procedures, the relationship with the supervisor; intradepartamental and interdepartmental integration, training policy, the management philosophy and system recognition.
