Abstract

The aim of this article is to descriptively approach the concept of Slow Tourism, beginning with defining and explaining the possible elements upon which it is based and their relationships. The method used for the carrying out of this work coincides with the revision of part of the relevant national and international literature related to degrowth, tourism sustainability, quality and slow territories.

The results and conclusions of the research have led to an initial systematization of the key concepts and their possible coordination. This work is a first step towards deeper and more consistent studies.
