Abstract

This exploratory study presents a time perception inventory and its validation process. It was based on the five dimensions of temporal model of Bluedorn and Jaussi (2007) (policronicity, speed, punctuality, time depth and entrainment), discussed in the theoretical framework, which included possible connections with other topics. Data collection was carried out in a call center, with a sample of 372 questionnaires. After detailing the statistical procedures, deletions of statements in three analyzed dimensions were suggested on the inventory, and  care in its application in  future research, essential for the strengthening of this explanatory model of temporal perceptions of workers.
